Timcarol Group of Schools was privileged to receive Professor Modupe Adeola Adelabu, the newly appointed Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Examinations Council (NECO), during a courtesy visit to the school on Wednesday, 8 July 2026.

Professor Adelabu, who was recently appointed to lead the NECO Governing Board while Professor Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi was retained as the Registrar and Chief Executive of the Council, visited the school as part of a routine goodwill and familiarization visit.

She was warmly received by the Director of Timcarol Group of Schools, Mrs Bunmi Adeyemi, alongside the Principal, Mr. T. O. Alamu, who welcomed her to the school and engaged in a cordial interaction. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss educational development, academic excellence, and the importance of leveraging technology to improve teaching and learning.

As part of the visit, Professor Adelabu toured several key facilities within the school, including the Computer Laboratory, where she observed the school’s ICT infrastructure and its commitment to integrating digital technology into classroom instruction. She commended the school’s efforts in providing students with a technology-driven learning environment that prepares them for future academic and professional opportunities.

The visit also afforded members of staff the opportunity to interact with Professor Adelabu, fostering meaningful conversations on quality education, innovation, and continuous improvement within Nigeria’s education sector.
